Rocket Racing League Games
A custom WordPress theme for this iPhone/iPod/iPad game — and more platforms to come! We usually recommends a site’s landing page is a “news” page, but with only one product and updates being less important this design features an information-rich landing page.  Updates are easily accessible on the “News” page.

This site uses the excellent WPTouch WordPress plugin to present news and updates in a much more mobile-phone friendly fashion — bypassing the graphic-intensive landing page and instead showing updates for mobile users.

Holy Cow Design also coded the WordPress theme for the official Rocket Racing League web site. We are not responsible for the design or concept which we feel is not future-proof and relies too heavily on traditional media rather than more modern social promotion concepts.

Playmobility
A custom WordPress theme created from scratch for Playmobility, creators of iPhone/iPod games and apps.

This theme includes an iPhone/mobile-specific stylesheet for better display on those devices with no need for a separate “mobile site”.

Alderac Entertainment Group
A small but successful traditional game company, “AEG” makes excellent board and card games sold worldwide.

Holy Cow Design created a “base” WordPress theme from scratch and then made variations in graphics and color schemes for individual games.

Adventurers
Not all of AEG’s game lines call for minor variations on a base theme.  For the Adventurers board game, AEG asked Holy Cow to do something a little flashier and graphical.  Doing this while still providing easy access to information can be tricky, but with the text content together in an obvious location visitors can easily click through to what they need despite the many images on the page.

Other original designs for AEG games include Monkey Lab and Straw.

The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets
For this Lovecraftian-inspired rock band on a budget, Holy Cow Design simply took an existing free WordPress theme and made a few image changes.

Sometimes the look you need is already out there but needs just a few tweaks.  Holy Cow can do that too!
