This Blog Contains Caffeine

I’ve been wanting to try making rings for a while.  Last night while watching the Canucks game with some friends, I started experimenting. Here’s the result: I’m pretty happy with them!

I was gifted some coated copper wire from some broken solenoids. It was a great weight and hardness for hook clasps, so I made a bunch. I love the fiery colors of copper.  I’m not sure what the coating is made of, but stood up to quite a bit of hammering.

I’ve been tatting for awhile, but never tried any tatted jewelry before.  (If you don’t know what tatting is, click here.)
