Elevator Etiquette

Before entering an elevator, first you wait for anyone exiting to get out. This is not only good etiquette, it makes everything faster for everyone. You will not get where you’re going until I get out, so why stand right in front of me and then try to squeeze past me while I’m getting out when there isn’t enough room?
Now you know.
Also true for skytrains. What is with those mobs who swarm the door and then get all huffy when you are forced to shove past them to exit? Just wait three seconds, people! I’ll get out of your way!
