Really, you people should read the book. It’s got some CRAZY rules.
I really should have watched West Wing. Every time I see something from it, it’s great. Maybe I’ll borrow the DVD set from somebody or… something.

Yeah… that show is awesome
If you can pick it up from the beginning, it’s really worth it. If none of your friends have it, do you have a Zip membership (I know they have it)… or a lot of video stores these days do carry full seasons of TV (though I haven’t seen any that carry WW).
If you’re interested in an in-depth look at the Bible’s rules, “The Year of Living Biblically” is quite good and covers a whole lot of ground.
Ah, yes, easily one of my favourite scenes in the entire series, generally referred to as the “Leviticus/Crab-puff” scene.
Lara has the first few seasons on DVD.
Of course in real life most Christians are very comfortable with picking and choosing from their book of rules as it suits them.
Right, and that’s the point. You don’t get to go to the Bible and say “See, homosexuality is wrong because it says so here!” and ignore the fact that it says that eating shellfish is an abomination and that having slaves is fine, among a lot of other things we’ve realized is ridiculous.
Whoa! Okay, you’ve just convinced me Puck. Time to start watching West Wing.
It is a fantastic show. I have the first four seasons on DVD if you want to borrow them sometime, and this might be the excuse I’ve been looking for to buy the last three.
