I was actually making a similar joke only a few days ago about the “virgin birth”.  Something along the lines of:

Joseph: “What do you mean you’re pregnant?  We just got married and haven’t consumated it yet!  You’re supposed to be a virgin!”
Mary: “Um… I.. I am!  It’s a miracle!  Sent by… uh… an ANGEL OF THE LORD!  Yeah, that’s the ticket!”
