When I finished reading Frank Miller’s comic “300″, I thought “Wow, this should be a movie.” Then, Sin City came out and was a success, and it was announced that “300″ would be made into a motion picture, also done as shot-for-shot as possible.
I was giddy.
Now there’s a trailer out, and I’m re-giddy. So very excellent.
Well apparently Warner doesn’t like free publicity and have told that site to take it down. But as Joe Rogan’s character on News Radio said “You can’t take something off the Internet. That’s like trying to take the pee out of a swimming pool!”
Update 2006-10-05: The official trailer is up on Apple. Here’s a direct link (right-click, Save As) so you don’t have to keep streaming it from Apple every time you want to look at it.

They talked about 300 on the Samurai Jack DVD commentary - which was the first I’d heard of it!
ps the link no longer goes to the trailer.
Goose bumps.
Damn it, I’m always too late!
Removed again.
I saved a local copy. If I can find somewhere to host it (I fear it’d overwhelm my site’s bandwidth if it got public) I’ll do so. Otherwise I’ll bring it over for you to see on Thursday.
