Mel & I were back in the ‘wack yesterday to attend the wedding of two friends, Rob Tarzwell and Jessica Pink. I’ve known Rob since Grade 8 (that’s 1979-80 for those keeping track) and Jess for about ten years, and I’m proud to say that I was the common thread that started their now-combined tapestry.
Their wedding was gorgeous and touching. The ceremony was, as I prefer, long enough to be meaningful but short enough so nobody was looking at their watches or lolling their head to the side wondering when it would all be over.
Jessica was absolutely stunning in the dress her mother had made for her, and Rob was very sharp and grinning nervously the whole time in his tux. The outdoor venue was gorgeous and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.
Rob & Jessica, congratulations! I know you two will be incredibly happy together! Hell, they already were happy!
Update: Here are the only two photos that turned out ok. We were told we couldn’t leave our seats for better shots during the ceremony, so only one at that time turned out.

With a name like “Tarzwell”, we must be related. I was born in Trenton, ON, now living in Calgary, AB. My grandfather, Jas. B. Tarzwell, founded the hamlet of Tarzwell, Ontario.
My grandfathers name was Roy Tarzwell I i know he use to run a small sawmill in the erin area near hillsbough ontario just wondering if hes related ?
Hello Tarzwell family members. I have a large collection of old Tarzwell photos. I’m sure they might belong to your family, if you would like to see them just let me know and I will send you a link to them.
Best wishes,
JVW
