Loki Update

Because of the move (and a little problem Loki has with his “boy parts”) we held off on getting Loki “fixed”.  As he’s nearly a year old (April 9th!) I finally called the vet and made an appointment for Thursday.  I dropped him off early Thursday (oh man, EARLY for me — it was halfway through my regular sleep schedule!) and they did the operation that day, saying I could pick him up early the next day.

But because of his “little problem” they had to do a bit more surgery and they phoned and said they wanted to keep him over the weekend to make sure he was peeing properly.  The longest we’ve ever been without him has been about seven hours when we were out visiting friends.  He’s utterly dedicated to us, and with his absence I’ve come to realize just how important he is to me.We visited him at the vet’s today and he was really happy to see us but obviously still hurting a bit from his operation.  It really hurt to see him like that, and hurt even more to know we couldn’t take him back with us yet.

Here he is at the vet, snapped on my cameraphone. Monday can’t come quick enough.

Loki with his little tire.  Saoirse gave it to him for Xmas, though at first he didn’t really play with it.  Here’s proof that he loves it!

Loki, grown up
Here he is having fun out in the local dog park.  Check out that big dog smile!

Ahh what a sad face. They are members of your family so you do miss them. Poor Guy he will be back to his old self pretty quickly they bounce back quite easily. Then he will out chasing all the girls again.
