We're within 30 minutes of downtown Vancouver anyway, and I'm not a big fan of the area. We did look at a few places closer in to the city but they just weren't very nice, were more expensive, and were in crappy areas. To live in a nice place in Vancouver you have to pay big-time and we'd rather live here in Burnaby and drive a bit further. But then again, we can bus to Skytrain from near our house, and then Skytrain in to Vancouver. I think Burnaby is as far as we’ll go.
