I’ve pretty much sworn off big arena concerts lately. It’s just a huge hassle and unless you get excellent seats I’d much rather be watching a DVD of the performance.
But holy crap I just noticed that Foo Fighters are touring with Weezer and if they make it to Vancouver (or did I miss them?) I would be sorely tempted to go.
Did you get the new Foo album and figure out how to circumvent the copy protection so you can copy to your ipod and listen to it? I’m having trouble with that.
I use EAC as my ripper (Exact Audio Copy) and circumventing copy protection involves just turning off the autorun for your CD drive. You can do it temporarily by holding down SHIFT when you insert the CD.
I tried using the itunes ripper and got garbled garbage. I’ll get this EAC you speak of. Thank you.
