Loki

Sorry I didn’t make it to road hockey today guys. I was out picking up the latest addition to our family: Loki the Boston Terrier.

He’s really friendly though still a little skittish when it comes to us looming over him. He’s incredibly well behaved but loves to play. He’s 13 weeks, 4 days as of this posting.

We weren’t sure of his name, and Loki popped up on the drive home. Bostons are usually quite the little tricksters so that fits, plus it’s very similar to “Lokai” who is also black on one side, white on the other (I know Magner will get that one).

Indeed Good thing he’s not reversed. Having a dog named Bele would just suck.

going off to shoot myself in the head now…..

So his name comes from Norse mythology and a nod to Star Trek. Definitely a geek-owned dog.

Very cute. You finally have your “child”. Congrats!

Just remember that any comments that you can “leave him and go out” will be invalidated the first time you are gone for a long time and he shreds some furniture or pees on your bed. :)

Welcome to your version of parenthood!

We’re crate training him, Chris. When we leave the house he’s put in his crate so the worst he can do is soil that, which he will do his best not to as dogs don’t like to soil where they sleep. And as soon as we come home we let him outside to get rid of what he’s built up.
