We’re crate training him, Chris. When we leave the house he’s put in his crate so the worst he can do is soil that, which he will do his best not to as dogs don’t like to soil where they sleep. And as soon as we come home we let him outside to get rid of what he’s built up.

Very cute. You finally have your “child”. Congrats!

Just remember that any comments that you can “leave him and go out” will be invalidated the first time you are gone for a long time and he shreds some furniture or pees on your bed.
