Hello, This is Patty Pope.
I won a dinner with Neil Gaiman from ConCat. I didn't even know
there was a contest. It seems they drew names from those who had
perregistered and had picked up their badges. Jameson picked mine
up for me and brought it to me at work. I had been working with
another woman who was going to the con so they knew to call me at
home. I got the message at 6:05 that said to be there at 6:00.
Fortunately, I live 5 minutes from the Hyatt. I made it
there and tracked them down in time to order. Wow! The
conversation was mostly about the comic book industry, so I
couldn't contribute much. I did learn that Neil has beautiful
eyes and eats very fast!
