The Sandman: Writers Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio (“Small Soldiers”, “The Mask of Zorro”) wrote a draft of this comic book series which has been on the film drawing boards for several years now (its been stuck in ‘Development Hell’ for a long time). Now, on Elliot’s site Wordplay, he revealed what has happened to it. Thanks to ‘Brad C.’

Have you read the latest from Corona’s Coming Attractions? They claim a new Sandman script has surfaced, one Jon Peters and WB are quite pleased with. The script is said to have more action than fans may be accustomed to.
Personally, I think the chances of a faithful Sandman film interpretation are quite slim. Is there anything that we as fans can do to wise the studios up? Anyone want to start a letter writing campaign?
