New Holy Cow Theme Launches!

After way too long we’ve finally updated the Holy Cow Design site with a new look.  As we suggest to all our clients we’re using the excellent open-source software WordPress to power the back-end of our site.  While WordPress started as simply “blogging” software it has grown into a top-notch, secure and stable content management system.

With the addition of the excellent (and free!) WP Super Cache plugin you get the benefits of a database-driven content system with the speed and “Digg-proof” power of standard HTML files.

So where do we go from here?  Well, content is king and it’s about time we started providing some.  Subscribe to our blog’s RSS feed to get instant notification of new articles, which will be coming out soon.

We’ll be talking about good design, good layout, and just what the heck a web site is for anyway.  We’ll be brutally honest about the failure of “manager designs”¹ and the ridiculous trend in “SEO marketing” that people have bought into lately.

In short, we’re going to share over a decade’s worth of knowledge about the web, design, and web marketing.
